PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Catholic United Ski Team is coached by members of the Catholic Central and West Catholic High School coaching staffs, under the direction of Scott Inman, Head Coach of the CC/WC High School Ski Team.
Our coaching staff is committed to helping every student-athlete:
- Develop alpine skiing skills
Build confidence and character
Grow as teammates and leaders
Strengthen their faith
Have fun while competing
Our philosophy is simple:
Work hard, compete with integrity, and develop a lifelong love of skiing.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Boys and girls in 6th–8th Grade
All athletes must register through TeamSnap.
Registration Fee: $250 per athlete
The registration fee includes:
Training space
Athlete lift tickets for away events
Personalized race bib- Team administration
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Each skier is responsible for providing:
- Skis & bindings
- Ski boots
- Ski poles
- Helmet (required)
- Goggles
- Appropriate winter outerwear
- Season pass and/or lift tickets
SKIER EXPECTATIONS
Student-athletes are expected to:
Arrive early and be ready to ski before scheduled practice
Be prepared for race days
- Course inspection begins 1 hour before race time
- Inspection closes 30 minutes before the race
Demonstrate respect toward:
- Coaches
- Teammates
- Competitors
- Race officials
Maintain good academic standing.
PARENT EXPECTATIONS
Parents play an important role in the success of our program.
Families are expected to:
Provide transportation to practices and races
Encourage and support their athlete
Communicate respectfully with coaches (24-hour rule)
Volunteer for race-day assignments when needed
Varsity race events require volunteer workers from each team.
PROGRAM COSTS
Registration Fee
$250 per athlete
This fee is collected during TeamSnap registration.
Remaining team expenses are covered by your member school.
Families are also responsible for purchasing all required ski equipment.

PARENT MEETING
A preseason parent meeting will be held before the season begins.
Families who register through TeamSnap will receive meeting details as soon as they are available.

All participating school rules apply regardless of where practices or races are held.
A current physical is required before participating in:

- Any team activity
